Skyrim Mod Spotlight - Serious HD Landscape Retexture

Fantastically well done and often-updated mod designed to fix the up-close and blurry textures of Skyrim's vast landscape. The mod replaces them with high-res and well made textures that look far superior, and is available in large and small sizes depending on your preference and hard-drive space.

@Hilvert14 Oh hush up. If the ground was a huge blurry mess would that be alright? If all the textures were bright pink or just completely ugly? Making the game look better boosts immersion and makes the whole damn thing look better. Not something to bitch about.

It's rather a myth that such high resolution textures hit frame-rate. The only factor is VRAM and if you don't have enough you'll get stutters and pausing.

Ever since S3 introduced S3TC over 10 years ago(now DirectX Texture Compression) it's not been an issue. You should only reduce texture quality if your have a card that has low VRAM. Most modern cards have 512MB and upwards of VRAM. Blame consoles. :)

i's wandering if there's a tutorial on how to retexture things (like weapons or armors) in HD... i mean i know how to do it the simple way, but it only let me change brightness, colours and stuff like that.

i'd like to know what that "_m" or "_n" means in the filenames and how to work on those files too.

a tutorial on this will be so helpful for the community.

@araluenranger12 seriously? thats all you got? didnt you read my post? i did activate it with the mod manager and it said it was successfully activated, AND i checked if the files were all there.. which they were... but ingame there was absolutly NO difference .. so can anybody can actually help me out? not like this dude who just tells me to do what i already did.. please?
