@Norach415 I played the Ravel Concerto in that master class. ;) And yes his performance was out of this world! I also really enjoyed his talking. He does truly love music, and is absolutely in love with what he does. :D

I was lucky enough to observe a master class this past weekend and also to hear him perform. If you’ve ever heard him talk about music and piano then seen him perform, no one would ever think he is not enjoying his life. It is obvious to any observer that piano and the understanding of classical music is his passion in life.

Ah, the young Zhang, just warming up his fingers up with simple little Chopin etudes for intermediate pieces like Gaspard de la Nuit and Alkan's Grande Sonate and Sorabji's 5th Sonata and Hamelin's Circus Galop.
But seriously, this is incredible!! He is an incredible pianist, and well deserved the Gold Medal in the Cliburn competition! I'm happy he got it!
