  • OMG!!!!! I Never Seen This In A Long Time

  • Nice find! I've seen this logo as shown on the "Adventures of Superman" TV show on WWOR-TV (channel 9) back in the late 80's and early 90's. As for the "W" logo, this logo is currently used for the WMG, the music company that has blocked or muted music from YouTube. I just want to say to WMG, f*** you!!!!!

  • Hmm.. that "W" logo seems to be the current logo for WMG, the most hated music company in YouTube history.

  • I never can get used to the abstact "W".

  • DVD IS ON 2006-2009

  • @moogyboy6

And what about Paramount Television's 1969 and 1975 logos in grayscale?

  • I don't think a.a.p. ever distributed that show

  • @Neville6000

    Technically, this is incorrect.

Warner Bros. is the motion pictures division of Warner Communications. Warner Bros. does not own DC Comics.

Warner Communications, now Time Warner, owns DC Comics.

  • I first saw this particular logo at the end of "The Adventures of Superman" at age 11...and it just blew my mind...considering the quality of the film.

  • The \\' Logo appears in color on reruns of The World's Greatest Superfriends on Boomerang.

It does fit Superman well due to the fact that Kinney National (owners of DC Comics) bought WB-Seven Arts in the 60's to merge, then became Warner Communications after dropping all non-entertainment assets (Funeral Homes and Parking Lots due to a scandal), and kept DC Comics (at the time, National Periodical Publications) as an entertainment asset, hence, DC being owned by WB.

  • They're making it black and whte to plaster over the old wich was in black and white and they just add that film damage from the show to the logo to mka eit look like it was originalally on that show.

  • But it DOES fit the show, since Warmer Bros. owns DC Comics.
