The first accumulating snow for the Twin Cities for the 2011-2012 season. 3.0" fell at MSP airport, 2.7" @ Inver Grove Heights, MN. I had to do an "audio swap" on youtube since the audio was blocked to do content. Replaced with "Let it snow".
@giggleblaggle - I was a little suprised we got as much snow as we did as most forecasts were calling for about an inch of snow. There was a good burst of snow b/w 1:00 and 2:00 pm. But yes, seeing the forecast for the rest of the week, I didn't bother to shovel the pile of snow at the end of the driveway left behind by the plow.
In Duluth, we just barely missed out on all the snow. I was so bummed about that, but oh well. Most snow will melt with those 40s coming our way next week.
