    Since he is widely considered to be one of the best singers alive, you may very well be the one with ear problems. If you don't like him, then please go back to Axl Rose or whatever other piece of shit it is that you consider to be good singer.

    man this version of black hole sun is so raw and open.. it raised the hair on my arms the first time i heard it.. the emotion that is in Cornells voice is amazing and im so glad i grew up listening to bands that influenced him and im even more proud to say that he is a favorite of mine and a huge influence on my vocals

    your right chris is a great singer and axl is as well different kind of singers... and axl can do other stuff he just happend to create a sound with gnr that will never be duplicated.. i agree shouldnt have ever been said in the same sentence or should they ever should be compared

    His range is huge but he cant controll it, his voice wouldn't work with anything but GnR and he lacks any other technical abilities to enhance his voice. Yeah, Axl is not a very good singer. Still, he sounds great with GnR and I can't imagine them with another singer.
