Soaps have been called drippy, stupid and many others, but I found them a good escape each day. I never took them seriously. Frances Reid was always one of my "must sees" as she added dignity and class to the obviously inane and grosely complicated writings. I want to add my love and support to Ms. Reid for the many years that she kept me at the TV, when I should've been tending to all sorts of reality. I'm still watching you folks and hope that you continue to use the magic on us.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES PREMIERED NOVEMBER 8 1965 it is 3 yrs older than me and i can remember addie dying my mum and sister were big fans back then 'mum has since passed but to this day through all the ups and downs i still love me some days and was glad to hear the relaunch was a success! RIP Frances Reid. We have and will always miss you as Grandma Alice Horton on Days. I have been watching you since day 1 and have felt part of your Days family; God bless you Mrs. H. and say hello to Dr. Tom Horton.
