is incredible to me how they actually can play identically as in the albums, they just have an amazing and unique style, they also make music of such complexity that makes them just incredible to listen.

i saw them at outside lands 09. unfortunatly, i smoked some laced shit and started tripping balls, especially from theyre craziness and had to leave after a few songs.. always bring your own ganja guys.

Mastodon is the first band since Metallica and Pantera to be this good and this popular in the American metal scene. they are the kings of metal right now, i think.
