One of my pickups dropped from the pick guard on my month-old Eastwood Wandre. So, I shot this video as a general review and as a peek inside as I had not seen any other videos discussing these great guitars.

I created this video at http://www.youtube.com/editor

  • Finally got around to doing a vid on the sound:

  • Oh, the guitar sounds great for what I use it for: alt rock, 80's stuff, some classic rock. It has excellent sustain even though it is not a semi hollow. The pick ups put out some good volume/tone without being too hot. If you are thinking Jazz you probably want something more like a hollow body but the combo switches let you pretty much get everything from a les paul like sound to a tele like sound out of it. I'll try to get a video done on the sound. There is a vid on their site.

  • everything mounted on a single pickguard is simply a cheap construction. the pickup routing is far too deep, there isn't enough wood anymore to sound good. i dont like fender guitars too, they are also poorly constructed, leo fender wasn't a luthier.

  • How does this guitar sound? Would you recommend it for gigging and recording?
