  • I wonder if the mafia kingpin that drove that new off the Cadillac showroom, is still around ? LOL what a GREAT CAR!

  • @bluemoondiadochi ah yes well I didn't mention my car was Japanese (Daihatsu) like your Lancer. Japanese cars are indestructible. One of my best mates has a '91 lancer and I think he has about 300.000 km on the clock, not much wrong with it. As for Renault I don't think they ever had especially reliable cars apart from R4 and maybe the Clio.

  • @VladBlok28 i'm glad for you that nothing broke yet!:)

i had a Renault Twingo. it could (mechanically) hold 250.000 km without re-haul. electrically, at 100.000 it was already starting to age. and mind, it's a GREAT car!

now i have a 1991 Mitsubishi Lancer - runs like a dream! can do 500.000 without re-haul. no modern car can do that mileage!

+ they're simpler and cheaper to patch up and keep running, and by my standard i wont be buying NOTHING new for a looong time - maybe never!

  • @bluemoondiadochi Honestly I have a 9 year old car and the only thing that ever broke on it was an electric window button. Not motor, button

  • @VladBlok28 cheap

modern car 5 years later (whey you pay it off)...

    busted transmission!

cheap modern car 10 years later...

repair costs cost more than vehicle itself!

20 y.o. honestly made unbreakable car...

    still goes!

    and goes and goes...

  • I wanted one of these old Cadillacs as my first car. Parents weren't wild about it. Bought myself a 72 Volkswagen instead. :P

  • wow your old caddy is almost bigger than my apartment

  • that looong cold start reminds me of a Dodge Aspen I drove 20 years ago - I never knew if that POS leaning tower of power would start in the winter or not

  • Fancy luxury car..

    barely works!

    Cheap modern car-

    Fires every time!

  • Nice Cadillac. should rebuild it
