What the police did with the ABC producer is actually illegal. He was filming on the sidewalk, which is public property and perfect legal to film or record whatever you want from there. The police officer pushed him into traffic and then (Fox cut this out) the police officer said "You're blocking traffic". The producer said, "You pushed me into the road and I was filming on the sidewalk." They charged him with trespassing (on public property apparently) along with some other stupid things.
