What I liked was how this peaceful song/level was right before the dangerous Phazon Mines. You witness nature in it's beauty and tranquilty and then one elevator later, you see land being torn up, air turned to smog and jarring machinery.

years pass new games been made, but none of them capture the feeling of prime 1 no ally no smile just you. in a beautiful majestic world that if your not wary about your self you will get eaten alive by pretty much everything there.

all the metroid games are supposed to make you feel alone but prime IMO captured this feeling the best way. there was no friendly a.i. and no npc's. nobody had your back, if you scream for help nobody will save you. it was you against the world, almost every living thing wanted to kill you (even the plants). no other game has made me feel so helpless but strong to survive it all. this game takes the cake, and this time the cake is not a lie it is the truth (the cold hard truth).
