About a dozen protestors from the disability rights group ADAPT gathered at Gov. Rick Perry's office Tuesday afternoon to block the entrances. Organizers say they wont leave until the governor signs a pledge to oppose cuts to community services for the disabled, use all of the Rainy Day Fund, and explore revenue enhancement options. DPS officers tell The Texas Tribune the building is open until 10pm and there are other ways for the governor and his staff to exit their offices. As of 6pm Tuesday evening, the group is still camped out at the Capitol.
