    Thanks!

  • would this work on my 1/2 ton 95 gmc pickup

  • @cowsandbigpickups

Yes. The concept works on all trucks. But for weight handling and towing ability you need to check with the trailer manufacturer.

  • @FloridaSPL do u think my '11 chevy silverado 1500 4.8 can handle it? it has these- twin turbo, superchiped , torque coverter hd towing pacage

  • @FloridaSPL The Ford F150 can handle more payload weight than the Tundra. Ford offers a heavy duty package that can be ordered with the F150 with the 5.0 liter and Ecoboost engines. I see more & more folks towing their 5th wheels with 1/2 tons, although a 1/2 ton may tow it it won't have the durability or fuel mileage of a diesel. Anyways, that was a great great video & very well done! Your handlebar mustache thingy is awesome!

That used to be true, but Toyota designed the new Tundra like a 3/4 ton truck. In fact, the 07-up Tundra is the first 1/2 ton truck that hitch installers agree can handle the stress.

  • Cool video, really liked it. But I have to ask, isn't it unsafe to use a fifth wheel on a half ton? I only ask this because I know installers of tow booms won't install on a half ton; mainly because the frame does not have enough meat on as opposed to 3/4-ton or a one ton trucks. I figure that was worth asking since tow booms and fifth wheels both require going into the frame.

  • hahahaha I laughed my butt off from the beginning part.
