@whosaidwhatwhen You should definitely check out some Charlie Brooker, he's fucking hilarious. Just a quick search on this site will provide many clips, and from there you should go on to find his entire Screenwipe series, Newswipe series and "You Have Been Watching".

Just watch the "Charlie Brooker's How to Report the News" related video. I don't know if news programmes across the pond do their reports like it, but I sure know 99% of UK news clips are EXACTLY how he satirizes them.
