@cjs33139: YOU'RE RIGHT, BUT Since way Back in the day and before, ...black women have been Naturally Light as well as dark skin. Come in many shades. As of 2011 more and more women have Gone Natural. Check out Youtube Videos of the Natural Community.

@GingerBronze OMG, I so agree with you!! I am Puertorican-Amer. but as you know, we also have african ancestry and I also see the same thing going on in our community with the skin bleaching creams, the relaxers, weaves, etc. Even more disturbing is the trend for women of color to get rhinoplasty to "thin out" wide noses. I wish more women of color would drop the weaves and go natural. We are buying into this Eurocentric standard of beauty that dictates what is beautiful and what is not!!
