This is my current golf swing with a driver. It went approx 240 yds. I am currently re-working the swing. Needed improvements are: Increase swing width (extend arms more back and thru); higher hands at top of backswing; keep arms away from body on downswing and follow-thru; Keep chin above left shoulder in backswing, hold wrist cock longer and increase lag; keep head centered more; avoid going beyond parallel with shaft at top of backswing; roll the ankles back and thru with feet staying on the ground; use lower body (legs and hips) more effectively. Constructive comments are appreciated
in my opinion, you lose your swing in the backswing. Your shoulders turn way too flat. Place a golf club across your chest at adress, then make a backswing...u should see the shaft over your left side pointing a lot closer to you. good luck!

lol sorry mate i mean your hands and club will lag behind your body.

just read your description. if you want to create more lag on your downswing, make your initial move form the top of your backswing a lateral hip movement towards the target. this will bring ur club down on the right plane and get you to create that leverage the pros have. will help u generate more power and speed. to increase the lag, bring your hips through more aggresively from the top so your upper body is lagging behind your lower body.

try to create more width in your backswing and then it will not be so long. to do this on ur takeaway try to keep your hands far away from your chest this will prevent so much un needed wrist hinge get u hting it further and have a better angle of attack into the ball. hope that helped.
