no religion or its true followers preach hate.the quran does teach us to go out there and fight-but the restriction is when someone fights you first.those quran verses that people always quote,are qauoted out of context,because at that time pagans persecuted muslims and god said fight them for they persecute you,slay them.and in modern days,muslims and non muslims alike quote that to preach violonce.

Ifzal that is not correct. You are referring to the EARLY commands in the Quran such as surah 2.

The later one in surah 9 is very clear..and it is offensive and invasion centred. See bukhari for hadith confirmation of this when Umar invaded Persia and his officer QUOTED that verse to justify it.
