That's not open tuning. You can clearly see the shape of the chords as she plays them. Except for the first chord which is a modified G, the D, F and then the key change to A are also clearly visible. Open tuning would have all the chords looking the same. ie just one finger all the way accross

@citizenanna She's using open tuning, but then, so do I at times. Not because I have long nails, but because it's pretty sometimes. I learned to do this from watching Joni Mitchell back in the day.
