Anime: Toradora!

Taiga realizes her feelings for Ryuuji after the Christmas party. She initially wanted Ryuuji and her friend Minori to date because she knew the two liked each other, but after spending enough time with Ryuuji, she realizes that she couldn't stop loving him. Minori witnesses Taiga outside her apartment crying out for Ryuuji at the end of the scene.

Toradora is actually very realistic and most of the things that happen in the anime is a real possibility that could happen in rl which is what makes it so great. You can relate to it more than you can other animes in this genre. long live toradora!
