I like rosewood, but the maple is nice too. Reverend P90s are great all around. This is another close call, but I might have to go with the Flatroc in a head-to-head, just as a matter of personal preference. Just so you know, most Reverend owners have more than one, so beware!

Not to be a pest, but do you prefer the RevTrons or their P90's on this model (versatility-wise, that is)? And are their maple boards as nice as their rosewood? Thanks. (Perhaps you can tell that I'll only be able to afford one of their guitars.)

How do you compare the mini humbuckers in the flatroc or the Club King a gibson humbucker model, lets say an SG?

The RevTrons could be described as more sparkly than a standard Gibson HB. They can get closer to the Gretcsh/Rickenbacker sound, especially in the Club King. In a grittier setting, think of the difference between Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC. Clean sounds are great through Revtrons, but they aren't shy about distortion/OD either.
