Eve online PvP Merlin attempt

me attempting to pvp with a friend. sorry if any lag. any tips would be nice. (i'm working on t2 weapons)

dont go to 0 with a blaster ship, try to kite his optimal and use your larger range to bring him down

@natzilllla1 I think he means, when you are fighting a blaster ship you should try your best to keep him at range for as long as possible

Use the orbit button.

Switch to Rockets - they've just been buffed.

In this fight you should have kept orbiting him as fast as you were able at the max range your weapons allowed, switched fire to his drones as soon as he launched them (still scramming him though), then finished him after his drones were down. Even then it looked like he was tanking well with armour...

@natzilllla1 no.. ur opponent was... hence dont go into 0 against him because he ll hit u for full damage, stay at range, if he hits, it wont be as powerful, go to maybe 5-10km, he may not hit you at all.

@praesentius i have my solid core basic down and soon my standard. i have engineering 5 and mec 5.

@natzilllla1 Try fitting meta 4 with faction ammo for now. The Arbalest rocket launchers with navy ammo should be just about as good. And the fitting will be easier. I would recommend beefing up your non-launcher skills, like engineering and stuff while running meta 4 weapons. Make sure those fundamentals are solid. Play with the training certificates to see what skills you are missing.

@praesentius yea i thought about it. and i came up with a nice harpy fit. can hit speeds up to 1500 m/s. and has a range of the high damage ammo of about 11 + 3 or 4 cant remember. It has a fair amount of dps, just i need to get t2 weapons first. so im not going to fly it until then.
