  • Physical laws have no regard for Protected Designation of Origin status in the EU, and thus it is nonsense to say it "need champagne" and that Cheap wine will not work. Where wine comes from is irrelevant.

What you "need" is any liquid with enough released carbon dioxide. Champagne does have more than most sparkling wines, but soda or bottle conditioned beer could also do.

The bottle shape and thickness is also important. The bottle in this video looks particularly thin. Moet bottles are thick

  • YEEEEEAAAAAA BBBBBAAAAABBBBEEEE YYAAAA, i was hoping the bald guy would sabre the annoying one.

  • The reaction made it funny..

    YEA BABEH!!!

  • ahah that was not Champagne but cheap sparkling wine.

  • That's what happens if you try to sabre regular sparkling wine. You'll need champagne to sabre, or else the bottle will explode like that.
