  • Great video but it covers about 5% of the deal with Shoutcast. Where's the rest? Admin pages, streaming pages, stats pages, how to actually manage the shoutcast server; how to let people listen to it on your site, etc..etc..

Seems like most people associated with Shoutcast think the rest of us that would use it are all Linux programmers.

  • @DjSmoothOrl This video was meant how to install SHOutcast server and not how to use the program. If you made a video on how to use it would be a very long video.

  • Thanks! That really helped me! Two questions though:

How do i close the server?

And how do i restart the server when i did any chenges?

I mean what commands i write in terminal

  • @HerrFru watch?v=M-GxLGkIFxk&feature=related

    Will explain what your asking.

  • ok good tutorial ...one more question...how do i make it to start as a service?and how can i run multiple shoutcast servers for difirent streams?and both of them to run as a service?

  • @KAYABA2007 Also watch my updated video.
