  • Another fun game. There goes some more money. ;)

  • Sam is bang on. Pandemic is more strategic, whereas Flash Point is more tactical. In Flash Point you tend to react immediately to changes on the board, whereas Pandemic you have time to work out a long term strategy. Consequently, Pandemic plays out more like a puzzle, whereas Flash Point is much more fluid, constantly changing in an unpredictable fashion (alike a fire would). Both are excellent games, and while similar, certainly scratch different itches. I thoroughly enjoy both.

  • The Kickstarter extra board is called Urban Structures and adds a new role for the advance game; otherwise no more additional rules but is a neat idea to use it as a second floor of a building.

  • Great looking game. Cool idea, too. I've heard so much good stuff I can't wait to check it out!

  • @WelcomeToZomboCom no its that time of game but this one seams good

  • Don't put damage markers on blown out doors... the squares on the board represent that you can already go through a blown out door.

  • Pirate ship fire fighting scenario?

  • A modular board system would have been great for this game. Exploring an unknown house on fire, while we are looking for survivors...

Anyway, it looks more appealing to me than Pandemic, if only because it has a smaller scale. I guess you can say that game also had a squad, but we spent most of our time separated, sitting on planes around the world.
