The Awesomeness that is RightScoop captured this kickass audio of Paul Ryan explaining in terms even LIBERALS might be able to understand, why Obamacare is a total farce.
@Sconi71 Please show me a member of The House that is in charge of creating jobs in his/her district.. The House of Representative's duties are to represent the people of their district on "National" matters, hence the name "House of Representatives". Congress does not have anything to do with local job creation, nor have they ever. They live in Washington D.C. and are employed by the Federal Government, not the state. Governors and Mayors are in charge of local job creation. Yes, he is awesome.
The Democrats flailing around here in desperate search of a coherent though - or in this case, a plan for saving Medicare - fail to realize that Ryan is simply trying to enact the recommendations of Obama's bipartisan debt panel. It was the Democrat President who called for these reforms through that panel. Paul Ryan is being an adult and following through. And the Democrats, of course, show that they weren't serious about it from the start. Where is your plan, Democrats? Let us know. KTHXBAI
you mean the mess Bush made. Obama's the one that cleaned it up
Ryan is a republican so you know that as a republican/conservative (take your pick) he will come up with a plan the people wll reject after the plan has been inspected and exposed
The one good thing about Ryan's budget proposal is that it will put a lot of right wingers out of thier jobs and homes. They'll have to move in with the kids who won't have jobs either. Many will die from lack of proper affardable health care. I'm all for that.
@genYprogressive Paul Ryan = Chair of House Budget Committee, cleanig up the mess that the Obamacrats left. GenYProgressive = commenting on a YouTube clip about how he's been, um, "discredited" or something.
@RadAntelope The Canadian System has none of what you mentioned. Tell me what do you think is worse a system where someone waits for non urgent care of one where someone that would cost the insurance company gets no care at all when they need it and they ether die or go decades into debt?
The discredited dishonest Paul Ryan has no credibility on this issue .
@genYprogressive The for-profit system hasn't failed any more than the single-payer system has succeed. We don't want substandard care, waiting lines, government-mandated diktats as to what kind of & when we can receive treatment and for how much, and we enjoy the choice of being able to opt out. Just because 1 of 6 people can't figure the system out doesn't mean that it needs to be destroyed for the other 5 of 6. People can be swayed by billion$, u say? We know. Obama was elected. QED
@RadAntelope I never said I dont' live in the US. I do live here. I moved here from the UK. The elections only prove alot of gullable people can be swayed by billions of dollars. Alot of people are going to Canada to get treatment, so much that their goverment is cracking down on this even though Steven Harper has a 36% approval rating.
You are missing the point. The fact is that the for profit system of health insurance had failed and needs to be abolished.

Paul Ryan's districts in Wisconsin have some of the poorest employment rates in Wisconsin. Yeah, he's awesome.
