This is a quick drop test of a brand new GW Finecast model on hard ground.
Height: 1.2m (bar height, much higher than any gaming table)
The model: Huron Blackheart
It took 3 tries to make it snap. It would take only one for a metal model.
I was able to glue it back together neatly, there is no chipping. None of the parts bent and none of the details were crushed in the process.
