I wrote this song for my AS level music course. The guitar intro is quite long, skip to 0.25 for the start of the song.

  • Sorry to sound picky about your description, but you did not write this song, it is a good version of the song (that you didn't write) and as thenugget666 said u needed the may before the sun. Not meant to be critical, you are an amazing singer and fair dues to you as there are very few people who can sing this so sweetly and perfectly as you can, really brings a tear to my eye and a warmth to my heart. congrats :)

I did actually write all the music. I wrote the guitar chords, the tune and the harmony. There are lots of different versions of this text put to different music, this is my version. I took the lyrics from a traditional gaelic blessing which i credited at the start of the video. As the composer I am allowed to edit the text in a way I see fit so that the music will fit better.

Im glad you enjoyed it, thank you for your comment :)

  • I'm so privileged to her this :) it brings a smile to my face

  • @ThePhilip1985 Thanks :)

  • Can I get the chords for this?

  • @echoman365 got the chords now if you still want them :)

  • @thenugget666 There are lots of musical variations of this old poem, if you dont like this one go listen to another one. This was my AS level coursework, which actually got an A.
