Aww... I love your tattoos and story! I was also considering getting a favorite Bible verse down my back similar to yours. I have been thinking about it for years. But I like your idea of getting a tattoo with your spouse as a wedding anniversary gift :) Our 10 years is coming up, maybe we'll do that instead of throwing a party ;)

WOW that is some gorgeous ink. I LOVE watching these videos and hearing the stories behind people's tattoos - your story wasn't cheesy at all; it's super sweet and meaningful to you and that's all that matters!! I know what you mean about some of the work that's out there....some of it makes you wonder if these people even bothered to check out the portfolios of the artists they were going to in the first place!

I reallyreallyreally want a bible verse tattoo! But I was reading Leviticus one day and came across chapter 19:28 - do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourself. I am the Lord." I still really want one but I'm not sure if I should after reading this... What do you think?

@123musicjo123 well, there is a lot of disussion on christians with tattoos.. i think above all else follow your own convictions. in leviticus they were talking about tattoos because in that time people were given tattoos to 'mark' them as being owned by someone as a servant or slave. and it talks about no longer being a slave to man but a slave to God. so it is talking about not being owned my someone. tattoos today are more of an artistic and self expression.
