  • It's a shame too because you have so many great artists that have gotten into the RNR Hall of Fame, but yet there are still a lot of underrated and underappreciated bands that have a made a huge contribution to RNR music all throughout the decade that have not been given the respect that they deserve for the achievements and scarfices that they have made to RNR music as a whole. Other than that I am happy that Metallica, the Stooges, and Run DMC are been recognized for 2009.

  • Yeah man i don't get it either. Even Madonna and some rap artists have been inducted into the RNR hall of fame, i mean i don't have anything against these artists, BUT THEY DON'T PLAY ROCKANDROLL!! I mean, it's like getting Led Zeppelin into a HIP HOP ALL OF FAME.

  • The Yardbirds were inducted into the Rockin Roll Hall of Fame in 1993... Icould never figure out what took so long? The Yardbirds are my favorite band of all time...

  • I cannot image the rock and roll landscape without The Yardbirds. Truly a great, great underrated band.

  • 6:20 ..nigel tufnel

  • I feel like when Jeff Beck came on that I was listening to Nigel Tufnel

  • sour grapes for a band that in retrospect never made the test of time. jim mc carthy didnt like eric! yikes!

  • clapton was smart to leave. he knew that band wasnt going anywhere, falling into the pop music of the day. him, the who, the stones broke new ground and changed the music world

  • "For You Love" was from 1964 and not

    1965 like it says here.

  • In my opinion Clapton did his best work with The Bluesbreakers....Page w/ LZ & Beck just continues to evolve & and break new ground. He brought Tal Wakenfield into the spotlight so that now not only bass players & jazz freaks know her name. What a talent !

  • I agree whole heartedly. Thanks for posting this fabulous documentary.

  • They deserve more credit. They are fabulous.
