TMK supports Angry Joe 110%

Angry Joe's interview with Geoff Keighley was enough to make me sick. Geoff's rude and unprofessonal attitude towards Angry Joe was totaly uncalled for and disrespectfull

@nljuggalo Rubbish, he voiced a strong opinion much like I do. And the outcome had positive results, Geoff apologized to Joe at E3 this year and said he would give me a great video next time. Win for everybody. People like Angry Joe put themselfs on the line for there community, much like I do. Joe is no fool.

@nljuggalo pfft, Joe and James are friends and have worked together before. James doesn't own all rights on being called "Angry" on the internet. He did have things prepared but was put on the spot, he was told he would get a sit down interview.

@TotalMK It doesn't matter if James owns the rights to the angry nerd gimmick or not, the fact is it's an old dead cliché that has been done to death and Angry Joe... despite having the word "Angry" in his name, isn't really angry. Joe isn't really informative or entertaining at all like AVGN was either.

@nljuggalo It's not that old just cause 3 people on the net (the bigger guys) use being angry to show passion. I have seen Angry Joe get very angry, even in this video "Where was the testing, there was no testing!" I find Angry Joe just as entertaining as AVGN, but in a differant style. His reviews are very informative. Lay off the guy man

@TotalMK Hell nah. and that's another thing. Angry Joe could never act worth a shit in his videos and states pretty much what you can read on the internet or on the bac k of a game box. Also, AVGN's videos in the past few years have been shit. He forces anger and jam packs his videos with poop jokes. His R.O.B. review is the pinnacle of this. The video had a dumb plot, fan service, bad delivery, a concept full of holes, and it lacked that much info it made Irate Gamer's video on R.O.B. superior!

Look at Mario Kart, it didn't need a story. Look how well it did. Riders used a story just give background on who the new characters the Babylon Rogues were.

The question is, should it be a main focus? A story being a main focus in a fighting game or racing game? (Unless they're going for a Fast and the Furious-type feel.)

@linearman0245 I watched both reviews, the Sonic FR one made me laugh alot. I have to aggree with all the points he pointed out. Even Racing Games can have a story, especially if they are based on the Sonic Universe. And the MK Review was fine, in fact he gave it mega props for having all the features that MvsC3 didn't have.

You should have seen him during his MK 2011 review, MvC3 review and Sonic Free Riders review.

It's hard to take him seriously when he's complaining about story in a fighting game or a racing game.

Here's one thing I don't like about Angry Joe: He claims to be the voice of the gamers, no just no.... that and he doesn't do his research sometimes.

@backstabba101 I think the worst part of that treatment Joe had, was that He was promised to have a sit down Interview prior to the date of the show, and to completely ignore his request by putting him there in the back without any pre-discussion with Spike on what would happen. It's no wonder Joe felt upset the way he was, they downright lied to his offer of a diplomatic review.

Maybe losing the Angry Joe appearence, would have help him not be assum by Keighly he was gonna go Angry on him.

@TotalMK Since Angry Joe is now associated with the new Blisterd Thumbs website, they should totally have their own Video Game Award show much like the donation drives that they do on TGWTG.com. Because Hey, it's not like the VGA's should be the ONLY award show about video games, especially since the VGA's are primarily a coporate money making award show that doesn't put a focused emphasis on Real Gamers.
