Turkey vultures or hawks gliding above a small airstrip in southeastern Ohio. About 5:30 pm, 10-02-10. Location: Lawrence County Airpark, along the Ohio River, between South Point, OH & Chesapeake, OH directly across the river from Huntington, WV.
From about the 1:20 mark to the 2:50 mark on the video the birds were joined by some doobob in a flying Go-Kart. He almost landed on my vehicle which was parked next to a soccer goal and the main road (old U.S. 52) to Chesapeake, busy with a fair amount of traffic that day.
Postscript: The siren you hear after the landing was a passing ambulance, no medical attention was required for the so-called pilot. Except maybe a psych consult.
i wonder how u make one?

Haha. I wonder if it is really that difficult to ground those things. I always wondered what it was like in one. But now it scares me. xD
