Not the ideal thing to use a Vandercook to do but in a pinch you can use them for Die cutting. I would have preferred to have my C&P to use but I have not picked it up yet.

I made my own die jacket out of a piece of steel and an old rubber blanket that was on my press when I bought it.

If I do this again I will get a piece of stainless steel instead of mild steel. The mild steel is a bit too soft for my liking.
