This is my presentation for this effect. I've added a kicker ending of my own and wanted everyone's opinion before I perform this in the real world. So far in my close up show, I only perform the part where the packets of reds and blacks separate but I just came up with the whole deck separation today. Please leave a comment below telling me what you think of the presentation and handling, if you like it, I will perform this in the real world. Thank you!

  • Very good, Pete. I like the ending I think it will play out well. Another approach you might want to try is culling the deck as you take the two packets.

  • @martinj1025 Thank you Jose, I'm glad you liked the ending. I tried doing the roadrunner cull as well but I just don't feel comfortable pulling this off in real life. True, that approach works great when someone hands you a deck of cards. I'll start practicing the cull and hopefully I'll be more comfortable performing in real life.

  • I love it! Very clever, and the spectator can shuffle if they are a reasonably neat shuffler, right?

  • @Snappyhands57 Thank you very much Jack, it's an honor to hear such a feedback from you! When I perform this effect, I just cut the deck in half, spread each half on the table and let the spectators push in the cards. They do not have to be a neat shuffler and this effect will still work, thanks to the excuse of removing the reds and black cards.

  • I like the idea of the kicker, but I think the plot (story) needs to be clearer. I mean the first part is FTL and the second part is OAW. The plot of separating clean water and dirty water matches the latter but not the former. I think you need a plot that makes this trick clearer, or change the first part into OAW.

  • @walrus815 You are right, I will definitely think about that. Thanks!
