  • @type3secretion I'm about to start private lessons with him over skype. When I was up in Milwaukee, I videotaped the lesson. Then he took me over to his computer to show me those videos and he had to triple check to make sure the camera was off so I wasn't recording them so I wouldn't release them myself. The videos are strictly for students at the Peck School of the Arts. I am sorry. But it does make sense.

  • @Jonathan31639 Hmmmm. I guess I'm a little more "open access" oriented for this. :)

  • I had a guitar lesson with John Stropes about a month ago up in Milwaukee. He showed me footage of Michael giving a seminar on this song. The poem meant a lot to him. He recited it at his wedding to his wife.

  • @Jonathan31639 Wrote to him begging him to release those videos of Michael's technique. If you have his ear, please encourage him!

i second that. As amazing as Michael was at the genre he created, this song is a tear jerker, he was already beyond description to me, but now...damn

When i started teaching myself guitar 8 months ago, i knew i wanted to produce something unique, i never knew about Michael until after i started searching for unique acoustic guitarists a few months ago...suffice to say i've found my true inspiration. Every bit of audio/video of Michael is gold to me...

  • thank you so much for posting this..

  • @jazzpsalti it's not; it's coming from his soul.

  • I can't believe that's coming from a pick

  • 相変わらず良い歌だ・・・。

  • I saw him three times at Club Bené in NJ. His shows were moving! His covers are so good that many times when I hear the titles to the songs, I think of his versions before the originals! RIP MICHAEL.
