After a two-year break they're at it again. Members of the Taiwanese Parliament have descended to physical violence after a debate on a new law got out of hand.
Jonathan Josephs reports on the legislators taking the law into their own hands.

  • @Pusd123 Get your history right. No one elected Chiang Kai Shek, and he became dictator when he moved to Taiwan, imposing Martial Law and tolerating no opposition, supported completely by the United States, as usual. No democracy there then.

  • Call that fighting? They wouldn't stand a chance at a West Ham v Millwall derby.

  • I want the see Asia's version of BBC Parliament, must be like a wrestling channel or something.

  • @Lilian The kind of "PERSON" who would say this sort of words, it is BARBARIAN.

  • @Lilian what do u mean all taiwanese u bettter watch your mouth

  • Food fights and water fights? Awesome!

  • @lilian

You know, you just showed off how stupid you are. Because what you said doesnt make any sense at all, you said 'all" taiwanese are barbarians, but have you met every single person in Taiwan? I dont think so. So before you have met every single person in taiwan and find out if they are 'all" barbarians, SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • All taiwanese are barbarian

  • @bbzzism

You're absolutely right in saying that some Taiwanese people look at your as if they saw a ghost. In cantonese, they call white males in general "鬼佬" (Gwei Lo, check wiki if you want to know more), which means "ghost man" in a vernacular form. But of course, there are a lot of differences between Cantonese and Taiwanese (the language) in terms of philology and linguistics since the term doesn't literally exist in the later, but the concept is similar in the eyes of Chinese.

  • in 0;26 the guy was angry cuz somebody was fingering his ass, so he was angry!
