I can't understand you but I picked up the "it used to be called global warming but it's climate change now because there's evidence it's not warming." and had to ask ... what the hell? The temperature has been steadily rising, the only way you can show a cooling spell is if you cherry pick a very short period of time or are only measuring in one area. If you measure in one area it's hardly "global" is it, you measure the entire globe (not just atmosphere temperatures)..

The warming we see today is much faster even if you do not notice in your lifetime. The world may survive but the species of animals are in another state where extinction is imminent.

Yeah, no kidding. The list on "side A" is extremely limited to the economic. Its obvious on which side he lies on and has read up on. His reasoning is about as good as imposing martial law and putting people in concentration camps for their safety. Sure it'll destroy the economy, but wasn't it worth it to possibly save people's lives. The idea that the movie "Day after tomorrow" events will come true is absurd (his comment on how this "might happen abruptly)

Trouble is, wonderingmind42 does not provide a balanced argument (perhaps he disabled comments in order to prevent people pointing out the obvious flaws in his thesis).
