CHAPTER 8

"Oh there you are. I didn't think I'd locked it." Hazel said holding up the key to her bedroom door and stepping inside.
"Leif seems... nice." Joe had to force the last word out of his mouth. Hazel looked at Nick, she knew what he was thinking. It was killing her.
"Guys... I want you to know. I really wanted to tell you. I did. It's just- well. I didn't tell you when I should have."
"Hazel. It's okay." Kevin reassured her. "We'd probably have done the same. Well, no. Some magazine would tell you but still."
Hazel smiled. Nick looked so let down. He was Hazels rock and it hurt her more than anything in the world to know she was causing him pain.
Fifteen minutes later Hazels mother walked through the front door, the twins in tow. "Hey Mummy!" Hazel said happily the Jonas family was sitting on the back deck by the pool along with Leif.
"Hazel, sorry we took so long. I didn't know the shopping centre would be so busy at four thirty."
"It's cool mum. I'm pretty sure Aarons gone to meet Rochelle and Tim. James is locked up in his room once again and I think Geff has gone to meet Tasha and Princip at the airport." Julianna nodded.
"Oh and ah, Denise and the boys are out by the pool." Hazel said, causing her mother to almost drop the bag of groceries she had.
"WHAT! THEY'RE EARLY!"
"Early? Wait- you knew they were coming?" Hazel asked shocked.
"Yes. I did know."
"Well thanks for telling me. I'm so glad that I get to be surprised. Hello- I didn't tell them about Leif." Hazel said. She was mad. "Besides, they already want to kill him."
"Why would the Jonas boys want to kill your boyfriend sweetie?" Her mother asked putting away a box of donuts.
"Who knows. You want me to go tell them you're home?"
"Nope. Everything in here's done. Let's go."
"Muuum...You're shaking." Hazel said walking besides her mother.
"Am I? I didn't notice thanks to the nausiating disiness." Julianna Joked.
Mother and daughter made their way out to the back yard. "JULZ!" Denise screamed hugging her friend. Behind his mothers back Joe silently imitated the scene causing Hazel to laugh.
"Denise. Boys. I have something important to tell you all." Julianna said breaking the hug between herself and Denise.
"What is it Julz?" Denise asked, more than a little concerned.
"Well. The thing is.. I'm, I'm pregnant."
