Is a stock 545i able to rech 270? does the digital display than show 270 ? because the spedo reaches to 260..

@kurdeundgesetzlos1  - I would say yes. Mine is chiptuned and reached 288@5200rpm. After that there's a transmission restriction.

@Tenktory Firstly BMWs are electronically limited to 250kph, so that has to be editted out of the ECU. Secondly manufacturers map their ECUs to account for differences in petrol quality in different countries. In Germany petrol is very high quality, so the ECU can be remapped specifically to run on high quality petrol.

This is very clearly a 545i .. V8 Sound .. And I believe indeed that he could reach 290 when he is Chiptuned and the Limiter would be deactivated.I know how much Power he has left when he reaches 255 Limiter..
