  • Hi i have a Phoenix Gold Cctane R 8.0.4 amp and its 75x4 watts rms. i want it to power jvc subs and wounderd if i could bridge it to achieve 250x2 watts rms which is perfect for my subs. i have checked online and the amp is bridgable but i dont know how to wire it so abit of advice would be greatly apreciated.. Thanks

  • @nzpunjabi007 For what i see it has 2 levels of ouputs stacked together, so if you wanna bridge, just take from the upper level the very left output terminal and the very right, that should give you bridge level output for 1 speaker, same as the other set of outputs for the other speaker. just check the polarity of these two, that should give you bridge mode!

  • i have 4 chanel amplifier 4x25 w(rms),it is old but good amplifier(old car radios on cassette did not had amplifier and radio in one box, they was separated )and i have that amp.now i want that amp 4x25w to power my elips 2 speakers, shortly how to bridge 4x25 w amp , to 2x50w?sorry for my bad english,i am from croatia, greetings from croatia.

  • @markomarovic12345 well fist i need to know what is the amplifier model or brand,, to see how the internal circuits work. Because by what you said it is a 4 channel by 25 watt for each one,, that already tells me that it has some internal integrated circuit amplifier type, which is not bridgeable at all.

  • at 1:40 that is bridging? so what do i do with left negative and the right positive?, do i ground them?

and also is it ok to do vis versa? as in use left negative and right positive?

  • Ha nice spelling Spany. Hey Carlos get your drunk dad

  • Thanks, I need some help here.

  • well they shouldnt be in the same enclosure (non seperated) but yea if they are seperated then its just one driver will push when the other will pull...they wont cancel each other out

  • in the diagram you show wouldn't the two signals cancel each other out?

  • You like HHO energy and music amplifiers you remind me of inventor named John Bedini see icehouse dot net/john1 . Use AltaVista Babel Fish babelfish dot altavista dot com to translate from English - Mexican.
