You've got to be joking...the fighter cannot be saved by the bell...he was KTFO...plain and simple, when he got up he was not comprehending sh*t, the ref stalled and did not count, fixed fight my friend, did you miss all this???

According to IBF rules, in which the fight was sanctioned, the count starts when the fighter hits the canvas. As soon as the fighter gets up and has both hands off the floor the count stops. This period during this fight where Lucian Bute was on the deck lasted around 7 seconds. Within this time the final bell went and the fight finished on the clock although Bute who was not saved by the bell under these rules still had to beat the count to ensure victory. Which he did.
