@shaserv he was left-handed and that IS how he played. Paul McCartney had left-handed instruments (and there were likely people before him with lefty gear), but Hendrix played "standard" instruments. He just flipped the neck to the right, and used his left hand to strum, etc.

If you notice on that SG Hendrix is tinkin with, the strings look like they are upside down. I've heard he could play that way.
