hippie part 2

this is the second part to a video we made for history on the haight/ashbury hippies in the 1960's. Our title was "the fine line between love and haight" this is similar to the stock market crash video if you have seen that. im very proud of this video and it is my favorite of all of ours

Nice..although: true hippies are self sufficient, and many original communes are still rockin'!!! Also, most didn't need handouts, and many became rich!(Steve Jobs) or entrepreneurs(Ben n'Jerry)

Well, thank them then for their acceptence of foreign nationals. The main status quo of that time was very oppressive to "non-white". I do concur with you about the drugs. Even the sci-fi writer "Dick" who did drugs heavily with all his friends wrote to Reagan and said that "Drugs are the scourge of society" But being a hippie was more than this, it was about being responsible for your own actions. Funny, though, digging for food out of trash cans is illegal, and cops chase you.
