Disproving God

I don't bother you about the blue Scarlett Ibis in my closet that gives me all of the commands that all humans are to obey; you don't give me crap about your god! Especially since your god is angry, petty, jealous, childish, vengeful, forgetful, bratty, selfish, domineering, merciless, war-mongering... (what did I forget?)

My blue Scarlett Ibis is kind to all of us (she never brings about any kind of suffering). She also brings me Coke and chocolate bars (which I love)

I am feeling you don't believe me. That's ok. As long as I don't let you see my blue Scarlett Ibis, I understand I have no right to be mad at you.

She won't be mad at you either. She just wants you to be nice. You can manage that, can't you?

Most of us do this by healing disease, and just by making our lives go more smoothly. But some of us have achieved much greater works than these, so that we can understand the plausibility of the so called miracles performed in Scripture. You might like to read Mary Baker Eddy's work, Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures. The Bible becomes much more friendly then.

all literature that has been recommended or cited has been nothing but that.

the bible cannot be friendly in any way so long as it carries messages of hate, anger, vengeance, destruction, selfishness, racism, exclusivity, singularism, threats, and the like.

the bible doesn't become friendly, just because PEOPLE are friendly. it remains unchanged by human actions

that's not what i get from reading it. the bible is god himself exhibiting his weakness in that he cannot get his way by us, and that all he can do is get angry and punish us ruthlessly.

real power is to get your way and allow others to get theirs as well, all without anger.

his constant anger at our "misdeeds" is more than enough proof that he cannot stop "evil" before it starts... he's a meager contender at best

An interesting view, but God already proved his existence through his Apostles and Prophets and of course his Son. Either we take him at his word or we don't. Consider this also, people have always felt the need to worship God, where did that come from, if not from God. Our spirit comes from God and he has placed that in our spirit. Some have allowed their spirit to wax cold by intellectualism, but God doesn't respond to this, only our heart, the spirit of man.

@THEREIZNOGOD Can you message me some passages to say this as such? I've answered at least 100 by now, and yet to have found one that was God acting out of blind anger, frustration, etc. Proof needed, not random stabs.
