This video was shot in August 1999. We did a quick trip over to Port Lincoln (About 400m/650km) from Adelaide to do the runs.
This video features my Irish Setter - Rhani. She loved speeders and camping - Sadly she is no longer with us.
And nor is the tramway. It was pulled up in 2000.
As with all my speeder videos, this was filmed on a railway line where we had the owners consent.
GWA are currently recycling the rail on their narrow gauge line
Was the line a private spur to serve that quarry?
The quarry shut so therefore so did the tramway.
The track looked in good condition , I am surprised there had been nothing run down there for six years.

Thanks for the feedback.
THe line was closed 6 years prior to the trip. I had permission from its caretaker at the time to do the run.
Top speed of these cars is around the 30-40mph mark.
If you like the idea do a google search - NARCOA if you are in the States, ASSCO if you are in Australia
