@stupidburp i read what you wrote. there was nothing to "figure out". your point was that you can chamber larger calibers in a ar15 lower with the proper upper reciever? well thanks, we didnt know that. hell, you could stick the ar15 lower on a rocket launcher. i could stick an ar15 lower on a silo and launch nuclear warheads with it.

@KottonmouthSoldiers Okay if you want to nitpick .50BMG needs a larger magazine well. .50 Beowulf uses the standard AR-15 magazine well. Sorry if you could not figure that out from my old post. The point was that you can use a standard AR-15 lower receiver for a variety of powerful calibers. The .50 BMG uses a different lower receiver for loading via the magazine well. It is possible to load some larger rounds directly into the chamber by hand or bolt with an appropriate upper receiver.

@stupidburp ....50beowulf needs different mags too, im gonna guess just from that you dont have too much hands-on experience; .50beowulf mags look similar to standard ar15 magazines. they make .50bmg uppers for standard ar15 lowers, probably ar10 lowers too... its bolt-action.
