Karl Ristenpart (1900-1967) leads the Saar Chamber Radio Orchestra in this performance of the second movement of Mozart's Serenade in G major, K. 525 ("Eine Kleine Nachtmusik"). I created this music video from the LP shown above, issued on the Musical Heritage Society label, serial number MHS 753. The Library of Congress online catalogue listing for this LP is available for review here: http://lccn.loc.gov/r67003069

Movement 2: Romanze - Andante

Movement 3: Minuetto - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsrE-AAKzIg

So no question arises in the mind of those listening to this recording, I rely in large part for images on the LP label and jacket to document the authenticity of extremely rare performances such as this.

The date indicated in the LOC listing is 1967, but that is the date the MHS LP was manufactured. Because this recording was licensed to MHS by Erato, and given that the conductor died in 1967, I suspect that this performance was recorded considerably earlier, possibly the mid-to-late 1950s.

Also from this LP:

Serenata Notturna (Serenade in D major), K. 239 - Marcia - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH2PzDepg1I

My playlist with all the Ristenpart recordings I have uploaded is here: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=D36B1C4DE93337A6

Members of the Chamber Orchestra of the Saar (some of whom you hear in this recording) included Georg-Friedrich Hendel, Hans-Martin Linde, Gunter Hoeller, Jean-Pierre Rampal, and Robert Veyron-Lacroix (whose performances of baroque harpsichord works you can find in at least one of my playlists).

A fairly good write-up of Ristenpart can be viewed on Wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Ristenpart
