@driverv86 but id say kid cudi is an amazing lyrics writer as well as music composer to his lyrics. If you don't think so, you can not listen to his mainstream songs. Ghost is an amazing song and only discovered it a week ago. :)

im glad too, since today the "rap" has no sense of creative or artistic sense that can't lead a person to their imagination of interpreting the music or even life. That music just makes life seem all about material possessions, racism, and other stuff. they use curse words alot which lower the quality i the work. its ok to have curse words in there but not every single sentence. I find no individualism in people when all they listen to is on the top list.

I used to think I hated rap.
But then through a series of events I was exposed to Nujabes, and then several other artists, and realized that I hated GANGSTER rap.
Continually swearing and talking about selling drugs, the hood, record sales and beamers means that you are a weak rapper.
Glad to know that there is good rap out there.
