Dimmu WAS Black metal until the band changed to Nuclear Blast. They were wayyyy more intense before that. if you go back and listen to For all Tid and Stormblast its way more dark than what they're making today. They've basically become more "mainstream" black metal after Stormblast. (not the 2001, original one is the shit!)

Dimmu Borgir is not legendary, shagrath sucks, and Dimmu Borgir is the biggest selouts ever. Go listen to real black metal like Moonblood, Mutiilation, mayhem, or hellhammer. I hate little kids that think dimmu borgir and cadle of filth are the best bands alive.
