Loopdeeloop Galaxy
Surfing 101

I've had a lot of requests for this place, actually. I won't name any requesters because there are just so many people stuck on this place. If you've played Mario Galaxy, then you'll know that the Loopdeeloop Galaxy shows up very early in the game, and it's required to continue.

The reason why it's difficult is because it uses a different control scheme than the Good Egg and Honeyhive Galaxies that come before it, and because some of the turns are rather tight.

A couple of pointers if you're having trouble yourself:
1. Don't swerve. you can lose control very easily and fall right off the path. Whenever possible go in a straight line, but be sure to stay in the middle of the path.
2. Some of the turns are too sharp to take on full speed. Instead of holding down the A button, let go of it every now and then or rapidly tap it to slow down enough to continue.

  • this would be extremely entertaining on shrooms

  • i beat this the first time. the trick is to be calm like crazy. the only tricky part was setting the controller up LOL i managed to get it working when a little kid told me about it(this was during a party)

  • I beat your record, it's 1:02

  • @Overhazard i've tried everything from 3 to 8 feet! But is it possible it has something to do with that my wii won't detect when i shake the remote, i have to shake the nunchuk for mario to do the spinattack!

  • @fellisch9 How far are you from the TV?

  • @Overhazard Im holding just as the picture says...

  • @fellisch9 It should be about 2 seconds. Also, are you holding the Wii Remote flat, parallel with the ground?

  • @Overhazard is 5 minutes enough? Or should i try longer this time? i mean it doesn't even flash to green for a millisec, the check mark stays white...

  • @fellisch9 All right, so you're aiming it properly. You need to hold still for a few seconds for the check mark to appear.
