The take shows my flight training in a L-39 Albatros, a Czech-built jet trainer. The training took place at Santa Fe, NM with Jet Warbird (http://jetwarbird.com). My instructor was Larry Salganek. The training covered basic flight manoeuvres (take-offs, landings, manoeuvering, slow flight, stalls), basic aerobatics (rolls, loops), and emergency procedures (simulated flame-out).
Absolutely, I felt like using the brake on my bicycle to control a 700lbs thrust engine.

@testpilot51: you are absolutely right. Whoever designed that system should be tarred and feathered. Otherwise the airplane is a brilliant piece of engineering!
